As the Associate Minister of Christian Education,
Angela's focus at Leaside is the Christian Education and programming of
the children and youth of the congregation.
Angela—originally from Pictou County, Nova Scotia—is a graduate of
St. Francis Xavier University, where she received a Bachelor of
Arts degree in Psychology. Angela also attended the University of Toronto
and Knox College where she obtained her Masters of Divinity and
Masters of Religious Education degrees. Angela enjoys doing ecumenical
work in the church and is currently the President-Elect of the
Women’s Interchurch Council of Canada- Toronto as well as the Chair
Person for the World Day of Prayer services in Toronto.
Angela currently is serving her second year on the Knox College
Board of Governors.
Angela’s interests include the study of intergenerational worship
and exploring new ways to have quality worship which makes everyone
feel comfortable and open to the Spirit of God. Angela is also interested
in exploring the faith journey of older adults in the church through
their interactions with people of all ages.
