Angela, originally from Pictou County, Nova Scotia, is a graduate of St. Francis
Xavier University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Angela
also attended Knox College at the University of Toronto where she obtained her Master
of Divinity and Master of Religious Education degrees. Angela enjoys doing ecumenical
work in the church and is currently the Past President of the Women’s Inter-Church Council
of Canada - Toronto, as well as the Chair Person for the World Day of Prayer
services in Toronto. Angela currently serves the Presbytery of East Toronto
as the Convener of the Congregational Support Committee.
Angela's focus at Leaside is the Christian Education of children and youth in the
congregation. Angela’s interests include the study of Intergenerational Worship
and exploring new ways to have meaningful Christian Education opportunities to make
everyone feel comfortable and open to the Spirit of God.
